I love the staff at Freed Veterinary Hospital. My family has taken pets here my entire life (since the 80’s) and I now take my own sweet Lilly here for her check ups as well as Doggie Day Care. She gets excited every day we take her and the staff treats her as their own with nicknames for her, stories about her, and as much love as we would give her! All employees, from the receptionists to the daycare staff, vet techs and doctors, they are always kind to us as well as her! Thanks for loving our girl as much as we do!

I have been taking my dogs to Freed for about 20 years now. They have always been courteous and friendly. We have had a couple emergencies and they always took us right back. Dr. Kutzer is the best. She is honest with you and doesn’t beat around the bush. They now take appointments which is great!

I had a very pleasant experience on Wednesday when I took my new cat in to be seen. The Dr. was extremely helpful & answered any questions that I had. A very nice lady… Also, Amanda that works at the desk was a big help. I appreciate it. Made a stressful day a whole lot better.

Been with this vet since 1983. Dr Freed owned it back then. I have had 2 dogs and 4 cats visit over the years. My dog is there right now as I’m out of town. I try to see Dr Kutzer or Dr. Freed now. Both outstanding doctors. While you are there ask to meet Phyllis, she is a kind and loving person as is the rest of the staff.

Our pets are always treated well. They saved our mini Dachshund’s life 3 years ago when she did emergency surgery on a hernia. She has helped him rally this time around from pancreatitis. He is 13 and we’d like to keep him with us as long as we can. Many thanks!

Best kennel experience thus far in Hampton Roads. The staff made it very easy for me to leave my dog. The check in process was seamless and they gave my pup lots of love during her stay. I also like that Freed provides solo play time outside.

This place is the best ever. My dog wasn’t getting enough exercise and became destructive at home. I looked at a few places and saw that Freed had been rated high for doggy daycare. I took my dog here 3 days a week now. She loves it. She hasn’t chewed anything up yet since. Dr.McSheehy has also done an excellent job treating her for skin conditions and is always willing to take the extra time to research it and make sure my Pumpkin gets the best care. I highly recommend this clinic for its clinic and daycare services.
