Emergency & Urgent Care

In critical situations, every second matters. Upon arriving at our facility for emergency or urgent care, our expertly trained team will conduct a swift triage evaluation to determine the stability of your pet and the necessity for immediate medical action. In scenarios where life is at risk, we may request your permission for CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

The initial step in basic triage involves checking your pet’s consciousness, breathing (difficulty breathing or suffocation, oxygen deprivation), circulatory health (indications like pale gums or weak pulses, rapid heartbeat), and assessing their pain level. For patients requiring immediate care, we will, with your consent, promptly move them to our treatment area for urgent evaluation by a doctor and start emergency treatment.

Immediate stabilization measures may include setting up an IV catheter for fluid therapy, providing oxygen support, and administering pain management medication. Once your pet is stable, the veterinarian will propose a diagnostic approach, potentially involving imaging tests (such as X-rays or ultrasound) and lab tests (including blood and urine analysis), to understand the severity of the condition and customize treatment accordingly.

Should your pet require specialized care beyond our facility’s capabilities, we will discuss transfer and referral options to a specialized center. We ensure that your regular veterinarian remains informed about your pet’s condition and treatment progress at the emergency center.
