7/01/2011- Make sure to get your reservations in for the upcoming Holidays. We usually book up pretty quickly and can often end up with a waiting list. Make your reservations by either logging into your Pet Portal account, or by calling us and speaking to one of our friendly receptionists.

03/19/2011- We now offer Veterinary Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese herbal medicine by appointment. If you have any questions give us a call or come on by. Dr. Angela Bross, a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and Herbalist, is happy to consult with you about any pet health concerns you may have. Please call for an appointment and for info about filling out a pre exam questionnaire.

12/04/2010- The Peninsula Pet Pantry is a newly created organization that provides temporary pet food and supply assistance to pet owners facing economic hardship on the Virginia Peninsula. The organization was founded by a group of animal lovers in Yorktown, Virginia who felt a dedicated organization to benefit the "other" members of the family was desperately needed in the Peninsula area. Through the efforts of the Pantry, the ultimate goal will be to reduce the rapidly rising rate of animal surrenders to local shelters and humane societies due to financial difficulties experienced by pet owners. The Pantry will concentrate exclusively on the cities and counties of York, Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News, James City County, and Williamsburg. Pet food pantries are being started across the country by community groups and animal shelters; the Peninsula Pet Pantry will be the first of its kind in this area! We are a drop off location for the Pet Pantry, you can bring in donations to the hospital and they will come by and pick it up from us.
